Head of SOX Administration and Financial Control

The finance organization at a large global company is looking to hire a Head of SOX Administration and Financial Control.

Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant, this pivotal role involves overseeing the SOX system and financial control processes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and implement SOX projects and control processes across the company's entities, including subsidiaries.

- Lead and execute periodic SOX audit processes to ensure compliance and efficacy.

- Develop and optimize organizational methods related to financial and accounting procedures, encompassing the creation of procedures, work instructions, and more.

- Navigate processes arising from regulatory requirements pertinent to the company.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

- Israeli citizenship

- Academic background in economics, business administration, accounting, and/or law.

- Possession of an accountant's license for a minimum of 5 years.

- Extensive experience (beyond internship) of at least 5 years in managing SOX areas or projects within sizable reporting corporations and/or audit and consulting firms.

- Demonstrated expertise in team management or significant matrix management.

- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Desired Qualifications:

- Familiarity with financial management and project processes.

- Prior experience working with large ERP systems (SAP proficiency is advantageous).

- Knowledge or experience in risk management and/or internal audit processes.
