Technical Writer

floLIVE is currently looking for a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our Product department to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.

floLIVE is revolutionizing the global IoT Connectivity market. We provide a Connectivity Management Service for Enterprises, Cloud providers, IoT service providers, and Mobile Operators, allowing them to connect their devices anywhere and manage them from a single interface.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, translate, and compose technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create documents such as product descriptions, release notes, user guides, online guides, video guides, and process flows using company standards and style guides.
• Work closely with expert stakeholders such as product, R&D, and QA teams to understand the company product and the documentation requirements.
• Create infographics and screenshot markups to increase user understanding.
• Create scripts for video tutorials.
• Updates, edits, and proofreads written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs.

Requirements:

• BA in English or a related major, Technical Writing Certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Expert writer and communicator in English.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a technical writer in a Hi-Tech company (Telecom industry - Advantage).
• Ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation paying attention to details.
• Experience developing user manuals, architecture diagrams, product descriptions, and API documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint)
• Proven experience working with MadCap Flare.
• Working with video editors such as Camtasia – Advantage
• Experience with AI tools for content writing - Advantage
• Portfolio of technical writing samples for review.
