Plastics Development Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plastics Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development of new products that align with the manufacturing processes in accordance with the factory's strategic plan.

Responsibilities:

1. New Product Development:

• Lead the development of new products compatible with the manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with the factory's strategic plan.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.

1. Technological Information Gathering:

• Collect relevant technological information to stay informed about industry trends and advancements.

1. Laboratory and Production Support:

• Provide guidance and support during development trials in the laboratory and manufacturing departments.
• Collaborate with production departments to implement and optimize developed processes.

1. External Relations:

• Establish and maintain relationships with external entities regarding raw material quality and negotiations (non-disclosure agreements).

1. Market Solutions and Technical Support:

• Offer solutions to market challenges related to product development.
• Handle technical inquiries and provide assistance in resolving customer complaints.

1. Hazardous Materials and Laboratory Safety:

• Manage permits and compliance related to hazardous materials.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to in the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Plastics Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science (Preferably from Technion, University, or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Familiarity with prioritization tools, such as PrioriTI or similar software.

• Fluent in Hebrew.
• Strong command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
