Financial Expert (Accountant)

The company is looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join its finance team.

The role reports directly to the VP of Finance, with no team management initially. Thorough and accurate, delivering at a high level, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work intensively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual and quarterly financial reports for two public companies in Israel and the USA, following USGAAP and IFRS standards.
• Edit and maintain the company's working papers.
• Oversee and control the integrity of the accounting management.
• Manage some of the SOX audits.
• Responsible for submitting and preparing annual tax reports for the group companies, including reports to government authorities such as the Innovation Authority and tax authorities.
• Responsible for ongoing reports to the controlling shareholder, including working with relevant regulatory bodies in Israel (through the Megama system).
• Prepare monthly reports for the banking system, responsibility for collections, and more.
• Collaborate with the company's consultants: lawyers, auditors, tax consultants, SOX consultants, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) mandatory.
• Experience in a company (at least one place) after specializing in a CPA firm (preferably from the Big 4 or as a manager in one of the Big 4).
• Experience working in a public company or with public company files is mandatory.
• Experience in preparing consolidated financial reports is mandatory.
• Excellent Excel skills are mandatory.
• Experience with Priority software - an advantage.
• High-level English.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work intensively, responsibility, and seriousness.
