Technical Writer

Imperva, a cybersecurity leader in on-Premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, is looking for a technical writer to be part of the documentation team. We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our technical writing department. The Technical Writing department’s mission is to provide high quality, accurate information that enables our users to understand, configure, and deploy Imperva products. You’ll be participating in a wide range of activities to support the creation and maintenance of our customer-facing documentation.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Producing high-quality documentation in a demanding environment
• Tracking new and improved features and preparing documentation for release
• Participating in status meetings for features and releases
• Interviewing SMEs to learn about new products and features
• Adhering to documentation guidelines and procedures
• Assisting with wording for microcopy, error messages, etc.
• Supporting the operation of the technical writing department
  
  

• 3+ years’ experience in technical documentation
• Team player, quick learner with the ability to learn independently
• Good interpersonal/interviewing skills with the ability to know the right questions to ask
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation under tight deadlines with changing requirements
• Excellent English (mother-tongue level) and preferably fluent in Hebrew
• Highly motivated with ability to work independently
• (advantage) Knowledge in any of the following: databases, networking, TCP/IP, cybersecurity
• (advantage) Experience with Author-It, Flare, Jira, Agile
