About the Role:

As our IT and Network Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Maintaining and managing our, and client-interfacing, network infrastructure, servers, routers, switches, and AP’s.
• Troubleshooting network connectivity issues, interfacing with customers networks.
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
• Providing technical support to staff and users (internal and external).
• Implementing GDPR related safeguards and mitigations to keep compliance.
• Developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:

o Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, WearOS devices, and servers.

o Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures, including GDPR- related policies.

o Monitor network performance and identify potential issues, create and master monitoring tools for proactive detection.

o Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning.

• Systems Administration:
• Linux Server and WearOS device Support

Qualifications:

o Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and applications. o Manage user accounts and permissions.

o Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.

o Perform system maintenance and updates, including antivirus and other protection means periodic updates.

o Provide technical support to staff and users for hardware and software issues. o Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems.

o Install and configure new software and hardware.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT administration.
• Strong understanding of network administration principles and practices.
• Experience with remote server operating systems (Linux).
• Knowledgeable with DNS, DHCP, GPO.
• Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection, MFA, SSO, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English, preferably experience in customer-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
