FinOps

MidLink, Emet Technologies’ cloud division is growing and looking for a FinOps Team Leader to manage FinOps Engineers that assist our customers optimized and reduce their AWS services cost. 

MidLink is an AWS Consulting Partner, constituting a one-stop-shop for all Cloud migration and modernization needs. We design well-architected cloud strategies, accurate methodology and tools for Cloud enablement and transformation. 

Owing to our All-in-AWS Cloud Experts, including AWS Architects, DevOps Professionals, Data Engineers, Security Specialists, FinOps Experts and Project Managers, we provide and deliver solutions that reduce infrastructure management overhead, shorten time-to-market, optimize costs and focus on the clients’ business goals.

What will your job look like?

• Manage and lead a team of FinOps Engineers
• Consult and assist with Developing tools that help maximizing our customers cost reduction
• Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services and plans
• Work closely with customers’ financial and technical teams, understand their needs and provide guidance throughout the optimization process.
• Create financial and usage dashboards to be shared periodically with C-Level

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a FinOps Engineer including management experience.
• Experience with AWS services, architecture, and tools
• Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools 
• Analytical and quantitative skills with hands-on experience in cloud demand forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Have hands-on experience with Python and SQL – Advantage
• Experience with cloud cost management systems such as CloudHealth, Pileus etc.
• Ability to handle relationships with customers to drive cost-efficiencies
• Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact at all levels
• End-to-end process management capability
