Communications Director

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Communications Director to manage all marketing and communications of our initiative.

The Communications Directors responsibilities include developing and execution cohesive marketing and communication strategies for SPHERE.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the management team to lead our marketing and communications in the Galilee, Israel and internationally
• Grow our impact through increased engagement with the various SPHERE stakeholders
• Establish and drive a multi-channel marketing and communications strategy
• Develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
• Prepare and manage all communications material including digital, video, audio and print content for our website, social media, PR and more
• Establish and lead a small team (mainly subcontractors) to execute the marcom
• Ensure full collaboration with our colleagues in our home organisation as well as at our partners
• Establish and develop additional (marcom) partnerships on regional, national and international level
• Develop contacts with media, influencers and community leaders
• Lead our work on events

• Requirements and skills:
• Proven hands-on work experience as a Communications Director or similar role
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
• Proven ability to develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
• Experience with copywriting, graphic design, layout and publishing
• Experience with (social) media platforms and social media marketing
• Bachelors degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline is preferred
• Experience with marcom for a sizeable organisation - must
• Experience with healtcare, municipalities - plus
• Able to work in English, Hebrew and Arabic - plus
• Experience with working locally, nationally and internationally
• Experience with with forming marcom partnerships
• MBA or advanced degree in communications, Marketing or related field- an advantage.
• 10+ years communications experience. - plus
