DBA - Infrastructure & Application

About the role:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, including ongoing data extraction and ETL processes. Serve as the technical authority for development teams on database matters.

Responsibilities:
Operate and administer Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases day-to-day, including data extraction and ETL processes.
Monitor database environments and perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Serve as the technical authority for development teams, defining standards for database structure, design, and access.
Develop new stored procedures and optimize existing procedures.
Apply performance optimization, performance tuning, and handling of high-load environments.

- At least 3 years of experience as a DBA in Microsoft SQL Server environments, including the development and operation of SSIS-based ETL processes.
- Graduate of a DBA training course.
- Microsoft and Oracle DBA certifications.
- Previous experience setting up, administering, and maintaining NoSQL databases on-premises and/or in the cloud, such as MongoDB and others.
- Previous experience setting up, managing, and operating databases on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
