Delivery Operations Specialist

Wolt is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Delivery Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As a crucial member of our Operations department, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily delivery operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Special Events - Our delivery business is full of surprises and unknown factors. Besides regular sunny days, we also have rainy days, holidays, special events, and internal campaigns that can change and alter our supply behavior during those times - and this is where you are needed: Delve into insights gained from past events, ranging from weather-related challenges to understanding the impact of supply and demand variations during different hours through holidays & special occasions, and Conduct thorough post-inquiries to compile findings and share them with relevant stakeholders.

Budget Planning- Take charge of operational courier supply budget planning, optimizing supply levels, and implementing strategies for efficient budget utilization, data sharing between teams, and aligning with our budget goals

Ongoing Routines and controls- Oversee and manage operational routines for ongoing verticals on the courier side like over-the-counter medicines, route optimization, fashion, retail, and new non-food verticals. Create delivery controls that ensure excellence within every new vertical.

Additional Responsibilities-

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and implement workflows aimed at enhancing courier performance, delivery efficiency, and overall stakeholder satisfaction.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies in delivery processes and drive innovative solutions to address them.
• Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, offering support and guidance on delivery operations-related issues.
• Analyze and interpret operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  
  

• Previous experience in operations, logistics, or cross-org project management (3 years+).
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively across teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in using data analysis tools and software; high proficiency in Excel is a must!
• Fluency in English and Hebrew is required.
