Responsible for the overall game economy tuning, balancing, pricing and monitoring in the purpose of balancing players' progress, prizes and level of challenge. Holds a high-level vision and understanding of the game's economy to locate new opportunities and ideas. Provides guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a group of individuals (the team) for the purpose of achieving a key result or group of aligned results.

Responsibilities

• Defines and oversees the economy features / projects: Vision ,Design, Execution, Performance.
• Serves as the Economy domain gatekeeper in the studio.
• Understands and optimizes the player perception psychology.
• Monitors the pricing plan in the game together with the Monetization team - guides and mentors the Economy manager to create the offering system that will fit the players in their game cycle.
• Creates the Economy roadmap considering the studio's roadmap, and advises on studio roadmap to support the game performance needs.
• Monitors for exploits / bugs in the economy.
• Identifies areas where sinks / sources should be tightened or loosened.
• Plans and balances players' progress, prizes, and level of challenge.
• Plans and guides A / B testing plans for constant optimization, in close cooperation with Business Analysts.
• Takes part and mentors Economy managers in designing new features - from concept to building configuration structure and executing examinations and simulations.
• Balances and monitors asset flows from all the features in the game.
  
  

• 3+ Years of experience as Economy manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a different quantitative field.
• High proficiency in using analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Experience in working at a data-oriented position.
• Orientation for numbers and problem solving.
• Advanced understanding of in-game logics and loop, and ability to translate numbers to UX
• Knowledge in other business domains like Product, BA and Monetization, including technical aspects.
• Ability to recruit and to grow the team.
