System Operations Manager

Job Description📑:

The Control and Monitoring Infrastructure Department is responsible for a variety of monitoring tools including traditional monitoring, user experience monitoring, synthetic monitoring, cloud, mobile, etc.

This role involves expertise in control and monitoring for organizational systems and infrastructures. The expert🥇 is part of the Control and Monitoring Infrastructure team, responsible for the SCOM system and other control and monitoring tools.

The position includes the development and writing of monitoring packages for systems, consulting and planning of new control and monitoring solutions including new systems (e.g., implementation of Zabbix, Cloud Watch, Splunk), supporting existing systems in the department, working with development and IT teams, and serving as a second line and professional anchor for other team members in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Job Requirements📑:

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the establishment, management, and maintenance of a control and monitoring system - mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, VB) - mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting and planning control and monitoring solutions - mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience and familiarity with control and monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, Zabbix, Splunk, Appdynamics, SquaredUp, Elk, Cloud Watch - mandatory. Experience with SCOM (two years or more) - an advantage.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience and familiarity with operating systems Windows, Linux, Unix - mandatory. In-depth understanding of infrastructures and software - mandatory.
