VP R&D Storage Division

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead all the R&D activities of the Storage division globally which includes:
• Battery Cell development
• Electronic components (BMS) development
• Software applications development
• Mechanical design of battery modules, racks and systems
• Responsible to deliver new and enhanced products according to product roadmap and planned budget as well as meeting quality and reliability targets
• Interacts with cross functional teams (Q&R, manufacturing, product, marketing, finance and legal) in Israel and Korea as well as with other engineering teams
• Assist in setting long term development roadmaps and targets
• Responsible for R&D budget and CAPEX spending
• Lead and take responsibility in meeting the company development timeline and targets
• Reports to the Storage division GM and is part of the Storage Division management team
• Identify and drive key technology and product trade-offs (time to market, costs, performance, etc.)
• Support relationships with key technology partners
• Champion and oversee the R&D’s creation and management of Intellectual Property
  
  

• 10 years of R&D executive leadership role
• Over 10 years experience in multi disciplinary products involving hardware, electronics and software
• Experience building and leading engineering teams for full-stack platforms that include integrated hardware and software components.
• Technical know-how / experience in batteries, energy storage, or related devices – an advantage
• Solid management and communication skills
• Experience in global high pace companies
• BSC in engineering in the fields of either electronics, chemistry or power (MsC preferred)
• High level English
• Willingness to travel frequently
