Are you an experienced analytical scientist with a strong background in biologics characterization? A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a talented individual to join the team as a Senior Analytical Scientist.

Position Summary: As a Senior Analytical Scientist, you will play a key role in the characterization of biologics, utilizing a diverse range of analytical and biophysical methods. This position requires expertise in liquid chromatographic separation sciences, and the successful candidate will independently develop and optimize analytical tools while collaborating closely with research and development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical solutions in liquid chromatographic separation sciences, specializing in LCs, ICs, and SEC.
• Design and implement analytical strategies to address complex, real-world analytical problems, including material failures.
• Set up various LC/IC hardware and detectors (MS, RI, UV, PDA, ELSD) and various columns.
• Contribute significantly to Analytical projects and R&D development, supporting large-scale projects across organizations.
• Design, develop, validate, and maintain complex chromatographic analytical instruments and methods.
• Monitor external analytical technology developments and identify innovations.
• Mentor, train, and guide less experienced staff in the chromatography space.

Requirements:

• MSc in the life sciences with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated skills and working knowledge in protein biochemistry and column chromatography.
• Experience in developing and optimizing analytical methods for HPLC and LCMS.
• Ability to suggest and execute new analytical strategies.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
