Back End Developer

An HFT Algo Trading Company located in Tel-Aviv, comprised of experienced industry professionals working on redefining Algo Trading is looking for: Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced developer to join our Algo team. As a key member of the Algo team, you will collaborate closely with other professionals in the team in order to design, implement, and maintain high-performance trading algorithms. You will play a crucial role in translating complex trading strategies into robust and scalable applications, ensuring seamless integration with our trading infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to integrate algorithms into our trading infrastructure seamlessly.
• Effectively translate existing and new trading algorithms into efficient and scalable Java and Python code.
• Continuously monitor and optimize algorithm performance to maximize efficiency and minimize latency.
• Build monitoring tools that offer a real time view on the system performance. 
• Troubleshoot and debug complex trading issues to maintain system stability and ensure optimal performance.
• Document code and processes to ensure maintainability and future scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is highly preferred.
• 3+ Years of Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining algorithmic trading systems.
• Expertise in Java and Python: Proficient in Java and Python, with strong programming skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Front-end Development: Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Familiarity with working in a cloud environment (and specifically AWS) is a big advantage.
• Data Structures and Algorithms: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques to ensure efficient code execution.
• Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication and Collaboration:** Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with data scientists, traders, and infrastructure developers.
