CEO for the Underwater Observatory Eilat

As the CEO, you will provide the Underwater Observatory with strategic leadership, vision, and direction. Your primary objective will be to drive operational excellence, foster innovation, expand our outreach, and ensure sustainable financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with the organization's mission, values, and long-term objectives.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure day-to-day operations' efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Financial Management: Direct financial strategies, budgeting, and resource allocation for optimized financial performance and sustainable growth. Proficiency in handling financial reports like IFRS.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with the group, partners, and the local community.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
• Innovation and Growth: Drive innovation initiatives, explore new opportunities, and expand revenue streams while staying updated with industry trends.

Role Requirements:

• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a company with a minimum of 200 employees.
• Strong strategic planning skills, demonstrating organizational growth and success history.
• Financial acumen with experience in budget management and exceeding financial targets, especially in handling financial reports like IFRS.
• Collaborative leadership in marketing and branding alongside the Marketing Director.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Skills Needed:

• English proficiency: native or bilingual, both written and verbal.
• An operational background is advantageous.
• Marketing and/or branding skills are advantageous.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Creative thinking and adaptability.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication.

Position Details:

• Full-time role: 6 working days a week (100% workload).
• Residency or relocation to Eilat is mandatory.
