Junior Data Project Manager

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Junior Data Project Manager to join our dedicated team. As a Junior Data Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in developing our data products from concept to release. You will be responsible for conducting research, defining specifications, testing data model results, collaborating with our development team, and overseeing the release process, including rigorous quality assurance.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of data and analytics, passion for football, good project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to create and improve our data products.
• Liaise with stakeholders within the company to gather project requirements.
• Conduct detailed data research and analysis.
• Oversee the product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to release.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure product meets defined requirements and quality standards.
• Regularly report on project status and progress to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Excel - a must.
• University degree (B.Sc preferred) in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields – a must.
• In-depth knowledge and passion for sports, especially football - a must.
• Familiarity with data analysis in scripting environments such as Python or R -advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and derive insights.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
