QA Engineer

BionicHIVE is an Israeli startup company developing SqUID, a unique fully automated robotic solution for warehouses. SqUID easily adapts to the customers current working model of operation and combines the intelligence and flexibility of humans with the power and efficiency of robots.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate, experienced QA Engineer with a strong technical background to join our R&D team!  

Job Description: 

As a QA Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our robotic systems. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to conduct integration testing, validate functionality, and contribute to the overall improvement of our products. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about robotics and eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities-

1. Integration Testing:

  - Collaborate with the development team to understand system architecture and design.

  - Develop and execute comprehensive integration test plans for robotic systems.

  - Identify and address potential issues related to hardware and software integration.

2. Functional Testing:

  - Conduct thorough functional testing of robotic components and systems.

  - Document and report defects and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of our products.

3. Quality Assurance:

  - Define and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.

  - Perform root cause analysis on defects and implement preventive measures.

  - Continuously improve QA methodologies and standards.

  - Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans and test cases.

  - Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities and results.

  - Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in robotics technology.

  - Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field - Advantage 

    - Proven experience, 2-3 years, as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.  

- Strong understanding in testing SW and HW systems

- Experience with integration testing and QA methodologies.

- Familiar with CLI (Linux based) commands and tools.

- Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, C++)- Advantage

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Out of the box thinking.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

- Can do approach.
