Electronic Engineer - Medical

EMG-Soft, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Engineer to join one of our customer's talented electronics team. This exciting opportunity is based in the vibrant Center of Israel, where our company thrives on pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in electronic engineering.

Responsibilities:

Engagement in electronic design facets: defining design specifications, establishing architecture, conducting electrical design, overseeing verification processes, and facilitating production transfer for a medical device.

• Proficiency in Digital, Analog, and RF design, encompassing bring-up and debugging activities.

• Creation and validation of mixed-signal (embedded) electronic boards.

• Compilation and execution of electronic specifications and design methodology documentation, covering functions, modules, verification testing, and design reviews.

• Validation of design methodology through hands-on hardware testing and Firmware verification.

• Development of procedures, protocols, and test reports.

• Collaboration with various departments within the organization, including software development, system engineering, QA/RA, and operations.

Requirements:

• Holder of a university degree (B.Sc or higher) in Electronic Engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mixed design: analog + digital (embedded) and RF design.

• A keen interest in practical work and adept problem-solving skills.

• Background in multi-disciplinary system design within the medical device industry.

• Proficiency desired in Altium/OrCad, Alegro viewer, with advantageous experience in Matlab, Simulink, and LabView.

• Familiarity with interfaces such as RS232, I2C, SPI, USB, BLE, RF.

• Knowledge of various sensor types (e.g., digital, analog, magnetic, optical, etc.).

• Proficient in hands-on board/system debugging.

• Awareness of EMC and safety standards, particularly IEC-60601.

• Proficient in high-level English speaking and writing.

• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
