Weare looking for a Site Reliability Engineer Team Lead to designandimplement scalable systems that will keep Walnut running smoothly andsupport our business growth. You will lead a global team of SREs andwork with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and agileenvironment.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Leadthe SRE team in developing technical solutions, leveraging your deepknowledge of the latest technologies and tools in system reliabilityand resilience.
• Makedecisions that will help craft our infrastructure stack, tacklingconcerns ranging from user configuration, resource isolation,capacity management, and cost.
• Ensurethe reliability of our system, abiding by SLAs, setting SLIs andSLOs that allow for a manageable error budget for Walnut teams.
• Buildand evolve tools and standards that provide the best developerexperience possible.
• Measure,own, and derive the improvement of metrics like deploymentfrequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, and time torestore service.
• Bepart of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  
  

• 5+years of professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer orDevOps.
• 2+years of management experience
• Workedin a team ensuring system reliability through automation, SLIdefinition, observability, incident management, and error budgetallocation.
• Proficiencyin AWS, Pulumi and/or Terraform.
• Knowledgeof at least one backend programming language like Go, Python,NodeJs, etc.
• Understandingof web development tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript, React).
• Experiencewith cloud native platforms and tools: Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, AWSLambda@edge, etc.
• Experiencewith end-to-end frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) aplus.
• Experienceworking in an Agile organization which values team autonomy.
• Youreproduct oriented, сalm, and focused under pressure.
