R&D Engineer for a Medical Device Company

Job Description:

Development/Improvement of medical devices.

Responsible for the development of a finished product in the field of medical devices in accordance with regulatory and medical requirements.

In-depth technological familiarity with the design of product components, including the ability to perform design analysis and failure analysis, and find engineering solutions.

Conducting type tests during development.

Working closely with project managers and process and development engineers to improve product performance and adapt it to manufacturing, packaging, sterilization, and testing processes.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in mechanical engineering - mandatory.

At least 5 years of experience in the plastics industry, designing plastic products, reliability design, and injection molding tooling.

Experience as an R&D engineer in the medical device industry - an advantage.

Experience working with subcontractors (mold manufacturers, injectors).

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Proficiency in Solid works and Office applications

Familiarity with statistical methods - an advantage.
