Role Overview

IFF is very excited to welcome a new Plant Engineer to our team, and we hope it’s you!

Purpose Of The Job

• Planning, control, accompaniment, improvement and management of all engineering activities and ongoing maintenance on sites including new projects.
• Management of environmental and safety issues related to the site.
• Planning, controlling, accompanying, improving and providing support for all production and finishing processes on the site.
• A partner in the implementation of the quality system for the production of high-quality and safe products under adequate production conditions for customer satisfaction.
  
  

• Responsibility for work according to orders, laws and regulations.
• Responsibility for improving processes, managing new projects.
• Responsibility for control over the provision of training as required by law and company procedures.
• Responsibility for writing and updating the work instructions.
• Ensure the existence and implementation of company procedures.
• Responsible for liaising with authorities and law enforcement.
• Responsibility for investigating environmental and safety incidents.
• Ensure the existence and implementation of a factory file.
• Ensure the proper functioning of firefighting equipment.
• Ensure the appointment of a poisons officer.
  
  

• Special skills or knowledge: operational and technical background, knowledge of English and use of a computer.
• Skills required in interpersonal relations: interpersonal communication at a high level, organizational skills, ability to manage and control projects, ability.
• Training, enforcement of standards and procedures while cooperating with all parties.
• Additional relevant information about the position: Report to the operations manager.
