New Product Introduction Engineer

Olive Diagnostics (https://www.olive.earth/) is hiring an NPI Engineer.

Olive is focusing in developing an innovative passive spectral device for at home measurements of urine biomarkers. Olive’s next-generation device will enable to passively analyse urine and empower users at home with early biomarkers information.

The suitable candidate will have the opportunity to work with the different departments of the company, a young and dynamic medical device startup; and, assist in the company’s transition into mass manufacturing.

You will join a team of highly qualified scientists & engineers enthusiastic to launching our initial IVD Medical Device in the coming months.

The NPI engineer will take part in all aspects of the product lifecycle from development to manufacturing and will be a key person in moving the company production capabilities forward.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Reports to the company’s CTO and EVP of R&D and Engineering

· Configuration control

· Technical writing – mechanical drawings/assembly instructions/test procedures/labels

· Product lifecycle management implementation

· Execute & oversee ECO processes

· Examination and approval of prototype parts

· Failure investigation (mechanical/electrical)

· Production line technical support at various subcontractors in China and Israel

· Mechanical design for testing & assembly equipment

· Test equipment maintenance and calibration

· Improve the production processes, reduce costs and production times

· Work with the R&D, engineering, quality & regulatory departments in the company

Requirements:

· Electrical/practical engineer - Must

· 2 years of experience as an NPI/Configuration control engineer - Must

· Familiar with PLM systems such as Agile, Arena, Teamcenter or other

· Familiar with SolidWorks/AutoCAD

· Familiar with OrCAD/KiCAD/Altium

· Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings - Must

· High level in English

· Self-learner

· Familiar with plastics tooling – advantage

· Experience in the fields of medical device – advantage

· Work experience with Priority system – advantage

· Work experience ISO13485 environment and eQMS

· Soldering capabilities – advantage
