Role Overview

IFF is very excited to welcome a new Quality Assurance Manager to our team, and we hope it’s you!

Responsibilities

• Managerial responsibility for 4 direct employees + QC team.
• Full Responsibility to quality / safety of the product including the maintenance of the QMS quality system, the HACCP system / food safety and the GMP.
• To be integral part of HACCP Team / Food Safety.
• Ensure that the quality management system complies is algin and match with on-site quality standards.
• Implementation of quality policy with an emphasis on the management of allergens within the framework of food safety.
• Manage an array of correct/corrective/preventive actions.
• Working in cooperation with the regulatory department in all matters relating to compliance with requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Handling customer and supplier requirements and complaints.
• Conducting management surveys and audits of suppliers and subcontractors, assessing suppliers and subcontractors.
• Handling of non-suitable product control, rescue, corrective and preventive actions.
• Preparation and transportation of external audits: authorities, institutes, and customers.
• Leading the process of implementing new quality standards.
• Handling and conducting internal audits and handling the certification system subject to the company's certifications.
• Sharing and monitoring in the preparation of a training plan and including quality and product safety issues in the training program.
• Responsibilities for work according to orders, mandatory laws and regulations, analysis of processes, and handling of document control management.
• Handling supplier evaluation subject to the management of the issue at the company level, handling of approval and maintenance of the list of detergents/disinfectants and lubricants, and the problem of pest control.
• Technological support in the quality aspect of production processes, ongoing work with the operating system that includes stopping processes, materials, shipments.
• Approval of raw materials specifications and TMG.
• Cooperation and leadership of the implementation of an environmental management system.
• Enforcement of standards and procedures in cooperation with all parties.
  
  

• Academic degree in Food Engineering / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Quality Assurance.
• Proven managerial experience.
• Minimum experience of 5 years – mandatory.
• Experience in the food industry – an advantage.
• High level of English proficiency (Verbal, reading and writing) – is a must.
• Computer Skills – High level in Microsoft office – is a must.
• Excellent interpersonal communication.
• Ability to manage and monitor projects.
• Training capabilities.
