C++ Software Engineer

A groundbreaking Agritech startup is developing a unique robotic product tailored for the agricultural industry. The company engineers and manufactures multidisciplinary products, including an autonomous tractor and control system, enabling farmers to perform remote operations and collect data for livestock control and air pollution monitoring.

The company's primary clientele resides in California, with additional customers in Europe. Development is a team effort, reporting to the VP of Research and Development. Development is conducted in C++ on Linux within an AWS environment.

With funding exceeding $50 million after a recent funding round, the company boasts a global workforce of over 130 employees in Israel and the United States. Located in Tel Aviv near a train line, they implement a 1-2 day work-from-home policy.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science

• 4 years of practical software engineering experience in C++

• Experience with Linux operating systems

• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development lifecycle

• ROS/ROS2 development experience (C++) preferably in a professional setting

• Experience with autonomous driving systems, preferably off-road (major advantage)

• Proven experience building more than one robotic system from scratch
