Database Administrator

An innovative tech company has developed a platform for monitoring and measuring online media to prevent malicious activities, such as identifying fake news, controversial content alterations, and digital fraud. Their goal is to create a safer and more transparent online world for major global brands. They believe that through the use of their platform, they not only serve these brands but also contribute to making the digital realm a slightly more secure place.

The company's code runs across billions of different advertisements daily, utilizing various Big Data technologies to analyze massive amounts of content in real-time.

The role involves being part of a team (one in Israel and two in the US) reporting to the VP of Research and Development. The technological stack includes Python, SQL, Vertica, Snowflake, and MongoDB.

Located in Tel Aviv within walking distance of a train station, the company adopts a hybrid model with three days per week working from home. They employ over 1,000 globally, with around 130 in Israel.

Requirement-

• 3 years of database development and/or administration.
• 3 extensive Experience in multiple database technologies preferable columnar or big warehouse systems dealing with TBs of data, preferably Vertica
• Software development experience is preferred
• Fast learner, creative thinker, problem solver. Must love BIG data!
• Accountable, dedicated and willing to be on-call as needed
• BS in Computer Science or other technical degree.
