Meet easyplant - who are we?

As part of our mission to make home design frictionless, we understood that plants are the worst home design product that dies constantly. We knew this was an engineering issue, and we forged our focus toward a mission to prevent plants from dying. Hence, we invested 2 years and developed a self-watering system that prevents plants from dying.

The adoption rates of the product in the market are just phenomenal, and we are accelerating our activity, which is increasing our need for a top-notch Industrial Designer to build the next products of easyplant, and improve the current one.

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Industrial Designer to develop exciting and innovative physical products with fantastic user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to join the core team of a new, promising startup that operates under the umbrella of "Mixtiles", one of the largest Israeli consumer companies.

What will you do?

• As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will conceptualize ideas, prototype, and develop innovative, "market-ready" consumer products together
• Your work will cover functional and aesthetic exploration, development of new product architectures, materials, and manufacturing research
• Manage ongoing communication with external manufacturers
• Map and define product requirements, complete "end to end" design through to manufacturing
• Compile 3D and 2D drawings to communicate production plans
• Develop creative solutions for usability, design, mechanical, and technical challenges
  
  

• You're a creative "problem solver," thinking up exceptional design concepts with a focus on aesthetics
• You have a passion and track record of taking ideas to market.
• You're super organized and continually take the initiative to push projects down the funnel
• You have excellent verbal and visual communication skills, you are able to convey complex concepts easily
• You have a demonstrated ability to multitask, set priorities, and self-manage against timelines and ambitious expectations.
• You have a Degree in Industrial Design - with 5-10 years of relevant experience, and you are super experienced with CAD (Solidworks) designing plastic products.
