Assistant Controller

Description:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated closings, including account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and general journal entries, ensuring that reconciliations are performed accurately and on time.
• Perform completeness checks of all financial information on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Assist with the implementation of new work procedures.
• Maintain an adequate system of accounting records and work closely with the bookkeepers to ensure and supervise the accuracy of ongoing/monthly/annual accounting matters.
• Responsible for the collection process.
• Budget Vs. Actual analysis.
• Manage accounting operations including AR, Revenue Recognition, Payroll, etc.
• Perform ongoing data control to ensure proper posting in books.
• Work closely with the company’s auditors.
• Assist with the day-to-day finance operations, and with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.

Requirements:

• CPA with an Internship in one of the Big 4; e-commerce and Inventory experience  – a big advantage.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and consolidated reports according to US GAAP.
• Multi-tasking, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and striving well in a dynamic work environment.
• Accurate and detailed oriented with a high level of analytical and professional skills.
• Ability to drive processes result-driven, willing to make an impact.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and yet a team player, highly committed.
• Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement.
• English - High level (writing and speaking).
