aVISI is seeking a Research Assistant

aVISI is actively seeking an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our dynamic team developing novel drug products.

As a Research Assistant, you will get on the ground floor of an exciting pharma startup, offering a unique and empowering learning experience.

As part of aVISI goal to develop novel drug products, you will work ‘hands-on’ to implement projects with our development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collecting, compiling, and analyzing scientific data.
• Under moderate supervision, conducting and evaluating experiments and tests.
• Implement and executing lab techniques and development processes.
• Writing protocols, reports and procedures and data presentations to other teams.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc or M.Sc. in Life Sciences or Chemistry or a related field.
• Must have practical experience in lab techniques.
• Experienced with methods of data analysis.
• Industry Experience - an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic and fast-changing research environment.
• Ability to read and summarize scientific literatures.
• Ability to accommodate multi-tasking and wide variety of project types.
• Excellent project management skills
