Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid role, 1-2 days per week in the office)

Position Overview:

As a Social Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing the online presence of our client through compelling and engaging video content across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This is a 12-month W2 contract with the potential for extension, and it offers a hybrid work model, requiring 1-2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality video content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Edit diverse video formats, encompassing scripted and unscripted content, from raw footage to the final product
• Stay abreast of the latest video content trends to optimize the company's performance across all social media platforms
• Uphold the company's brand integrity and ensure that videos resonate and inspire consumers

Qualifications:

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience in editing social media videos for a large brand or publisher
• A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating proficiency in short-form social media video editing
• Strong understanding of the social video landscape, social trends, and the distinctions between social and traditional video formats
• Familiarity with in-platform editing and creation tools on social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
