BI Developer

Travelier, formerly known as Bookaway Group, is a travel-tech company, revolutionizing ground and sea transportation for travelers. Travelier’s network of digital platforms allows customers to instantly buy intercity tickets to ferries, buses, and trains in local markets which can be usually complex, enabling stress-free travel across the globe. We're looking for a proactive data enthusiast with strong analytical and technical skills who will build BI products end-to-end from business discovery and data modeling through ETL processes to interactive and insightful solutions. As a BI Engineer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful solutions that will help move the business forward and enable data-driven decision-making. You will:

• Work closely with business users and analysts (from executive management to business line employees) to deeply understand business needs and design insightful and interactive BI-based products
• Develop ETL/ELT processes optimized for performance, scalability, and ease of maintenance (DBT, airflow, or similar technologies)
• End-to-end accountability for your area of expertise from raw data to BI products including design, development, training, and maintenance
• Perform research and POCs on new data tools and technologies
  
  

• 4+ years of proven experience as a BI developer or similar role
• SQL high proficiency
• Proficient in DWH methodologies and best practices
• Experience in AirFlow
• Experience in delivering insights with high user adoption using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Powerbi, or similar
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business-oriented thinking
• Fast thinker, delivery-oriented, and a joy to work with!
• A team player with a "can-do" attitude
• Ability to multitask and handle various priorities in a high-paced environment
• Experience in online product analysis
  
  

• Experienced with MPP columnar databases like Bigquery/Snowflake/Redshift or similar
• Experience as a customer-facing BI developer
• Python experience
• Experienced with Git
