Rapyd is looking for a Director of Global Operations to lead an international team. You will report to the COO and work side by side with Financial Operations and Compliance Operations amongst other groups.

This role has critical responsibilities and requires a unique combination of skills and experience, catering to C levels as to all other Rapyd employees. If you want to manage processes end to end, take ownership for making sure that Rapyd runs efficiently on the operational front, are independent, looking to always do more and assume ownership end-to-end, we have just the job for you.

As the Director of Global Operations you will:

• In charge of the administration team which provides support to the company's local and global offices. The team has many roles, including acting as the first line of defense for our employees well-being.
• Responsible for the function of the company’s Chef Restaurant catering. This includes budget management, acting as a liaison between Rapyd and the caterers, overseeing over 30 people in charge of providing top notch hospitality to our employees
• Managing our gym and comprehensive physical and fitness programs Rapyd provides to its employees
• Collaborating closely with HR on employee wellness on a variety of projects and initiatives, providing first hand feedback and implementing various operational aspects of HR wellness programs
• Managing international travel, monitor policies, resolve issues, and streamline operations
• Managing the company’s real estate, from contracts through renovations to various issues
• Defining and maintaining global policies for office management, admin SLAs, coaching and training younger staff across the world
• Running point on Rapyd’s ESG program, working with the COO and CEO as needed
• Working directly with a variety of suppliers, contractors and stakeholders
• Providing clear KPIs for your responsibilities and striving for constant improvement

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as an Operations lead
• 3+ years experience managing a team
• Fluent English
• High organizational skills and attention to details
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills
• Service oriented
• Sees things through from end to end in a process driven way
• Autonomous, dependable and trustworthy
• Strong ability to multitask
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced analytical, cross-referencing and deductive reasoning skills, with demonstrated history of systematically solving large enterprise operational issues successfully
• Thrives working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and able to make sound decisions under pressure
• Must display a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service
• Advanced diplomacy skills, with ability to navigate both internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated history of building, developing and managing a high performing global team
