Payroll Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities

Accurately process payroll information for multiple employers.

Maintain accurate records of employee/employer payroll data.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding payroll taxes and deductions.

Process employee benefits and deductions.

Audit payroll reports for accuracy.

Provide customer service to employers regarding payroll inquiries.

Assist with the preparation of payroll tax returns.

Required Skills

Excellent general computer skills with strong Excel experience and the ability to quickly learn new software.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-directed, pro-active work ethic.

Ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to confidentially handle confidential and sensitive information and employee's payroll information.

Ability to work as a team and remain flexible

Ability to relate well and communicate with people of all levels
