Egis with its partners (altogether called METAV) have been appointed as Network Manager, to work closely with the client in managing the planning, design and construction of 3 new underground metro lines in Tel Aviv. The 3 new metro lines will total 149km and 109 metro stations to serve 24 municipalities. Key figures:

• Operational in 2034.
• Estimated 2 million passengers per day will benefit from the new metro network.
• €50bn estimated cost.
• Benefits to Tel Aviv: 30% increase in public transport use and €8bn in economic benefits to the local economy.
  
  

• Pilot the Line Managers in cascading the Operation and Maintenance Concept
• Manage the O&M and RAMS team of the Network Manager
• Review the Operation and Maintenance requirements developed by the Line Manager
• Assist the Owner in Strategic decisions concerning O&M (Procurement, missions of a Shadow Operator,...)
• Review the Operation plans developed by the Line Managers in order to meet the service requirements and the and Maintenance strategy to support such service requirements.
• Review the hubs Operation and Maintenance plans developed by the Line Managers.
• Review the Staffing requirements, with a ‘high level’ view of numbers, deployment plan and skills.
• Control the Operations Control Centre (OCC), Secondary Control Centre (SCC) and Data Control Centre (DCC) operation plans developed by the Line Managers
• Review the Depots Operation plans developed by the Line Managers
  
  

• Senior engineer with at least 15 years’ experience in major infrastructure/transportation projects including mass transit / metro.
• Degree or high diploma preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Operation Manager or as OCC manager in LRT line or Metro Line operated by an Automated Driverless System.
• Significant experience as OCC manager throughout the testing and commissioning process or trial running of an LRT or Driverless Metro Line project until its Commercial Operation is an asset
• Significant and relevant experience in an Automated Driverless System
• Overseas consulting experience in Metro GoA4 projects is an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
