Role Description

Momentick is seeking an exceptional Senior Computer Vision Data Scientist to join our small, dynamic R&D team. This position encompasses the development and deployment of robust computer vision models and creation of labeled datasets employing signal processing techniques. The candidate should be fluent in streamlining the deployment and in management of the models. Strong algorithmic skills are a prerequisite for this position, as the successful candidate will be actively involved in designing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms to enhance the performance of computer vision models.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy advanced computer vision models for detecting methane presence using multi-dimensional (including time series) remote sensing data.
• Create labeled datasets using signal processing techniques.
• Streamline deployment and management of computer vision models, utilizing Docker containerization for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with a small R&D team to guide strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or Physics. Master's degree - Advantage.
• Proven 4+ years of experience (academic experience counts) in developing and deploying computer vision models.
• Experience designing and implementing computer vision algorithms, such as object detection, segmentation, classification, or tracking
• Expertise in using computer vision libraries and frameworks, such as OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Expertise in creating labeled datasets.
• Proficiency in working with Dockers for model deployment and management.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small, interdisciplinary team.
