Farm Attendant - Feed Infrastructure

About The Job

We are looking for a Farm Attendant – Feed Infrastructure to join our work crew at our Southern Zone, based out of Dover. The primary role is to upkeep the feed barge and feeding infrastructure on the lease. This hands-on position works a 2/2/5/5 roster. If you love being outdoors and working on the water, this position is for you!

Daily tasks of a Farm Attendant - Feed Infrastructure at Tassal include below;

• Rope tying and welding of feeding pipes;
• Cleaning and maintenance of feed cameras and sensors;
• Regular maintenance of the feeding systems on board the barge;
• Quality assurance of floating infrastructure and stock protection rigging;
• On occasion, assist in other farming operations;
• Fish care and environmental protection practices; and
• Inputting nets and general labouring duties on the water.
  
  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Be physically fit and be a self-motivated and reliable team player;
• Enjoy being on the water(essential); and
• Coxswain ticket and Diesel Endorsement (desirable) .
  
  

To be successful, you must be able to provide proof that you have the right to work in Australia and be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
