Equipment engineer

Job Description

Tool engineer who's responsible for the 'Health' of the tool, utilizing day-to-day indicators such as: MTBF (Mean Time To Failure), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), Availability, and more. Decision making based on machine's historical parameters and result analysis for completed experiments. Responsible for the machine equipment's domain, including: preventive and predictive maintenance, understanding hardware specification and preparation for new products, debug capabilities , budget and cost reduction, technician training and more. Creates and applies process optimizations in the lab to meet critical quality targets and cost constraints. Highly independent, plans and schedules self-activities in day-to-day routine, utilizing MBPS (Model Based Problem Solving) and formal education to find root cause and develop robust solutions or mitigations, disassemble/assemble and calibrate machine parts in order to maintain and repair machines.

Qualifications

• Graduated Mechanical engineer / Electrical engineer (HW specialization)
• Data analysis capabilities , experience working with engineering tools [PBI, JMP, MATLAB, Python...] to analysis the machines and the experiments data .
• Technical knowledge and experience with ATE (Automated Test Equipment) - testers, handlers and probers - operation, troubleshooting
• High level of problem-solving capabilities
• Hands on technical capabilities
• Creativity, motivation, excellent teammate, fast learning skills, and independence
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent English- oral and written communication skills.
• Schematics reading and understanding Ways to stand out from the crowd
• 4 years
• of Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience
• Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to demonstrate experience in creative problem-solving skills, and out-of-the-box thinking.
