We’re looking for a spectacular writer to create content that makes freight simple, bringing clarity to the most complicated aspects of this global industry.
You’ll be responsible for building and executing on content marketing strategy, to ensure we meet organic KPIs, across a website that gets millions of visitors a year. You’ll also oversee SEO optimization together with our external agency, lead CRO initiatives and analyze organic performance to find new opportunities..
Roles And Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and distribute diverse content formats (blogs, guides, videos, webinars) to continuously reach new customers while also educating existing users
- Work closely with our SEO agency on ongoing organic optimizations, keyword research, editorial planning, CRO opportunities and A/B testing
- Coordinate with multiple teams, including CS, data, and research to translate the most up-to-date customer and data insights into content initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing ops and design to create compelling newsletters and other email campaigns, and optimize performance for engagement and growth
- Launch webinars with internal & external thought leaders
- Track and report on organic KPIs, and incorporate insights into content & SEO strategy to help meet organic goals
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years content marketing experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS company
- English mother tongue (exceptional written and communication skills)
- Fast learner and independent researcher, with basic analytics proficiency
- Familiarity with generating high-quality educational content, simplifying complex topics and understanding audience segmentation
- Knowledgeable in content strategy and planning, measuring and analyzing organic performance and refining content based on data-led insights
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and basic HTML skills
- Experience with SEO best practices and tools such as AHREFs for keyword research
- Working proficiency of A/B testing and CRO to enhance content effectiveness, and drive continuous improvements in audience engagement and conversion metrics
- Eye for design and experience working with designers to create compelling visuals
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, adept at project management and prioritization - and able to own every aspect of the content marketing domain
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA in marketing, business, communications, technology or similar areas
- Proven cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, especially data and CS, to understand market trends and harness internal knowledge and data
- Experience building relationships with external co-marketing partners
- Leveraging analytics platforms (GA4) to measure organic performance, and working closely with the research and data teams to harness internal data
- Proficiency with martech tools such as HubSpot, GA4, VWO, OptinMonster
- Familiarity with project management tools (such as Asana)
- Basic video editing skills using platforms such as Camtasia
