Mobile Automation Engineer

TeleMessage is seeking a talented Mobile Automation Engineer to design efficient automated tests for our mobile applications. 

The Mobile Automation Engineer developer will report to QA Manager and collaborate closely with iOS and Android developers, QA and E2E activities.  

This position provides the ability to pick up and learn a wide variety of new technologies and topics and work in Agile deliveries with taking ownership of tasks on short notice and working under challenging deadlines. 

Responsibilities:

• Help implement and drive automated testing strategies across multiple mobile automation projects 
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, tools & techniques to efficiently certify a variety of mobile devices testing 
• Analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance 
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities 
• Reviewing software bug reports and investigating the causes 
• Creating detailed test reports 
• Identifying mobile application problems and target areas 
• Troubleshooting automation software issues 
• Maintenance of automation software scalability and performance 
• Monitoring assurance metrics and process results 

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools processes, and development cycles 
• Strong programming skills, including scripting, automation systems, and databases 
• At least 2 years of proven experience working as a QA Mobile Automation engineer using JAVA, Maven, GIT, SVN with hybrid/native mobile applications 
• Highly proficient with JAVA concepts and coding skills 
• Strong experience with Appium for iOS and Android platforms 
• Experience with Jenkins and scripting CI processes 
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
