Compliance Specialist

Job Summary: As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all business activities and processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks. This position requires an understanding of pharmaceutical and Medical Devices regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Regulatory Compliance: 

• Stay abreast of relevant pharmaceutical and Medical Devices regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices. 
• Develop and maintain a compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards. 

Policy Development and Implementation: 

• Create, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures. 
• Work closely with different departments to integrate compliance requirements into business processes. 
• Conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance matters. 

Audits and Monitoring: 

• Plan and execute compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls. 
• Monitor ongoing compliance through regular reviews and assessments. 
• Prepare reports on audit findings and recommend improvements. 

Documentation and Record Keeping: 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to compliance activities. 
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory standards and is readily available for audits. 

Investigations and Reporting: 

• Investigate compliance violations and deviations. 
• Prepare comprehensive reports on investigation findings and recommend corrective actions. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or similar). 
• 5-7 years of proven experience working in a compliance role within the pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry. 
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical or Medical Devices regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and industry standards. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
