Back End Java Developer

AlgoSec is looking for a bright Java Developer to join our Analytics team that focuses on expanding AlgoSec solutions; learning different firewalls and network devices and implementing configuration analysis and management.

Analytics team also deals with network abstraction, firewalls’ policy analysis and risks, firewalls’ policy optimization, delivers APIs for visibility and analysis of complex network security policies across on premise and cloud networks.

Location: Petah Tikva, Israel

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will analyze, design and develop new complex back-end features, redesign bottlenecks for scale and maintain our back-end services.
• Take part in feature development from the requirement definition state to final deliverable.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in Java ( C/C++ experience – an advantage)
• Experience in Spring, Hibernate (transactions).
• Experience in concurrency and data structures
• Experience in Linux/UNIX environments (bash and scripting - an advantage)
• Experience in Unit tests and continues development
• Experience in SQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience in networking, routing protocols, firewalls, public clouds - an advantage
• Multi-service or multi component application development - an advantage
• Team player, pleasant person to work with, high level of integrity
• Very bright, fast learner, independent and organized
