Senior Accountant

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Agrotech sector. Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in all financial activities. Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing accurate and timely reports to management.

General Ledger Management:

Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.

Analyze variances and provide insights to support effective financial decision-making.

Tax Compliance:

Work closely with tax professionals to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.

Prepare necessary documentation and reports for tax filings.

Audit Support:

Facilitate internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Implement audit recommendations to enhance financial processes and controls.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

Implement best practices to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights for strategic decision-making.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any financial queries or concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - a must!

Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on IFRS compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
