About the Role

We are hiring a dynamic and seasoned Director of Product Development to join our early-stage startup and lead our product development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for execution and will bring a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in implementing and operating product development processes, weaving together engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver impactful products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Guide and lead a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and analysts to execute the product development process effectively.

Process Optimization:

• Implement and refine product development processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company objectives.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with company officers and stakeholders to contribute to the overall product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Communicate effectively with customers to gather product input and feedback, incorporating user perspectives into the product development process.

Product Strategy:

• Develop and articulate product strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Formulate near-term roadmaps that balance strategic goals with tactical execution.

Delivery Excellence:

• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful product releases that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Product Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in product management, demonstrating a successful track record in delivering products to market.

Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

Process Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of product development methodologies, with a focus on agile practices and continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working professionally with artificial intelligence and/or data science concepts and their applications.

Customer Communication:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to gather insights, input, and feedback for product improvement.
