Senior Mechatronic Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechatronic Engineer with a strong background in electronics, mechanics, and coding to join our Research and Development (R&D) team. Responsibilities: As a Mechatronic Engineer with coding expertise, your responsibilities will encompass the following:

1. R&D Leadership: Lead and actively contribute to the design and development of mechatronic systems for our innovative robotic projects.
2. Prototyping: Create and refine prototypes for new robotic solutions, continuously iterating designs to achieve optimal performance.
3. Electromechanical Proficiency: Leverage your deep knowledge of both electronics and mechanical engineering to design, assemble, and troubleshoot mechatronic systems.
4. Hands-On Aptitude: Be hands-on in constructing, disassembling, and modifying electromechanical components and systems.
5. Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential challenges and devise innovative solutions to intricate engineering problems.
6. Coding Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in coding, especially for microcontrollers and Arduino, to program and control various robotic functionalities.
7. 3D Printing and CAD: Utilize 3D printing and CAD software for design, prototyping, and fabrication.
8. Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, to seamlessly integrate mechatronic components into our robotic systems.
9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of designs, processes, and testing outcomes.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in mechatronic engineering, with a proven track record of successful R&D projects.
• Proficiency in mechatronic engineering, and coding for microcontrollers and Arduino.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling engineering challenges.
• Hands-on experience with the assembly and disassembly of electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in using 3D printing and CAD software for prototyping and design.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
