Bioinformatician - pharmaceutical start-up in Rehovot (2787)

We are seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatician to join the computational team at a cutting-edge pharmaceutical start-up in Rehovot.

Position Responsibilities

● Collaborate with experimentalists to design and optimize pipelines that aim to find stable and functional proteins.

● Analyze large-scale biological data sets, such as protein sequences, structures, and interactions.

● Implement computational algorithms and tools for protein design and engineering.

● Utilize ML algorithms to reveal observations in biological data.

Position Requirements

● PhD/MSc in computational biology/bioinformatics.

● Experience with tools and software related to NGS, sequence analysis, evolutionary analysis, and structural biology.

● Familiarity with protein modeling and mutant design approaches and tools.

● Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Linux environment.

● Understanding of machine learning algorithms and experience with at least one machine learning library (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

● Ability to communicate and present results.
