Controller

Papaya is one of the world's fastest-growing mobile game companies, providing entertainment for millions of users across multiple apps. The company is headquartered in the heart of Tel Aviv. We are looking for a sharp and passionate Controller to join our top-notch finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Review and oversee the preparation of corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Manage the Accounting team.
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the quarterly and annual audit.
• Process mapping, implementation of controls, tests to ensure compliance with company procedures and accounting standards.
• Maintain, review, and oversee billing and revenue cycles to ensure proper revenue recognition policy and books reconciliation.
• Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance.
• Calculate tax expenses, sales tax and prepare tax return reports.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual Budget VS Actual.
• Implement new accounting standards and lead the finance related projects.
• Manage the company Options process.
• Review and oversee the payments process.
• Calculate transfer pricing.
• Hedging accounting.
• Cash flow management.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA designation - a must
• Minimum 2 years of auditing experience at a BIG4 firm - a must
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in a high-tech company - a must
• Minimum 2 years of management experience - a must
• Proven Sox and Compliance experience - big advantage
• Hands-on and diligent with close attention to detail
• High level of analytical and professional skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize workload
• Good judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Excellent English (spoken and written)
