Information Security Analyst

A FinTech American company is looking for an Information Security Analyst.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing security solutions for the company.

In this role, you will investigate anomalies and API transactions to figure out what are the attacks in the company. You will work to understand what they are trying to achieve and how we can mitigate the attack and close the vulnerability.

Your work will help the company to make products more secure for our millions of customers.

Main duties include:

• Become experts at company's APIs and the threat surface.
• Performing complex data analysis to find and understand security vulnerabilities in the company ecosystem.
• Work closely with development teams to identify and close the vulnerabilities.
• Doing research, collecting data, developing secure strategies, and maximizing productivity.
• In charge of implementing security principles while following strict privacy policies.
• Conduct assessments of enterprise environments and frequently monitor logs and computer traffic.
• Coordinate update initiatives for existing technologies in their companies to minimize downtime and avoid security contingencies.
• Document security breaches and proceed according to company rules.
• Document, prioritize, and analyze security threats, incidents, and key metrics.
• Review daily and periodic data to identify, report, and remedy vulnerabilities.
• Configure and analyze security tools and software.
• Coordinate with IT and end users to minimize disruptions and protect assets.

Skills

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Math, computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in Cyber Crime, Military Intelligence or something similar that involved investigating bad actor/adversary activity.
• Experience with E-commerce and Payments - Advantage
• Knowledge in Python, ML Technologies, HTTP, REST, GraphQL - Advantage
• Team player with great people skills
