Research Development Mechanical Engineer

Rapid Medical is a fast-growing medical device company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative devices for endovascular interventional procedures.

We are looking for an experienced, talented, and creative engineer to join our R&D team and be a key player in our future development.

LOCATION: Yokneam, Israel

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new medical devices as well as improve existing designs.

• Design and test new product prototypes to meet design specifications.

• Manage/initiate integration, performance, and usability tests as part of product development.

• Generate DMR (drawings, routing cards, work instructions, material specifications).

• Perform verification and validation testing (V&V).

• Support transfer-to-production activities and design production tools.

• Support ECO processes.

• Support regulatory submissions.

• Learn and implement new technologies and manufacturing processes.

• Work collaboratively with team members and colleagues from other departments in the company (manufacturing, quality, regulation, clinical, and sales).

REQUIREMENTS

• M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering from Technion or Ben Gurion University.

• 3-5 years of experience as an R&D Engineer in the medical devices industry.

• Full control and proven experience with Solidworks.

• High-level English skills – reading, writing, and speaking.

• Strong technical skills and a hands-on approach.

• Ability to work in dynamic and multi-interfaced surroundings, micro and macro vision.

• Strong attention to details and Self-learning ability.

• Ability to manage time and priorities and work under pressure.

• Excellent teamwork ability and interpersonal skills.
