Transport and Urban Planner

We are looking for someone who wants to be involved in Public Transport and Infrastructure Planning and to help shaping for better mobility. The ideal candidate will be working in public transport planning, accessibility, walkability, bicycle environment planning and transport modelling. He will also effectively participate in monitoring and presenting project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. The project will be in the field of public transport utilizing data from transportation models, statutory public transport related data, big data sources for development of applications in the realm of public transport services.

Responsibilities

·       Participate in delivering public transport service bundles for projects

·       Participate in preparing project deliverables

·       Participate in updating relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress

·       Learn from project team members on tasks you are assigned by them as part of creating the public transport planning projects. 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Geography, economics or is a civil or

transport engineer.

·       Master's degree in one of the above fields, Urban Planning or Urban Design is an

advantage

·       Strong verbal, written, and skills in working as part of a team

·       Experience in GIS is an advantage

·       Profound interest and commitment to public transport and to the reduction of usage of

private cars.
