Controller

An exceptional Ag-tech /Food-tech startup based in Tel Aviv, is looking for controller with a sharp mind, attention to detail, independence, and strong people skills, to play a pivotal role in our finance team.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Prepare analyses for monthly, quarterly, and annual book closings.

• Preparation of consolidated financial statements, balance sheet and other reports for regulatory authorities.

• undertake all aspects of tax transactions across the Company, including CIT, indirect taxes and VAT as well as tax.

• Preparation of travel expenses reports

• Coordinate with external auditors and advisors. 

• Negotiation with banks.

• Applications submission to the IIA – Advantage.

• Serve as a focal point for payroll operations.

• Responsible for invoicing and aligning the CRM system with ERP (familiarity with SAP Business One is preferred).

• Streamline workflows, automate data entry, and implement software solutions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Controller

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification. 

• Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel. 

• Familiarity with the SAP B 1 system. 

• Capability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic work environment. 

• Attention to detail, creativity, independence and strong analysis skills.

• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken. 

• Excellent organizational, management, and problem-solving capabilities.
